I've been trying to bring over some old configs from the last server I ran, as the Control panel here doesnt have an option to add this.

For example, I'm trying to add MaxPersonalTamedDinos=250 which goes in the gameuseroptions.ini but when i add it via the CP it adds in the wrong place, when i go in via ftp, save and upload it back to the server, the next time i restart, the new configs are removed. I'm having trouble getting it to stick.

Any help appreciated.

Managed to add TamedDinos, dunno whether I overlooked it the first time or if its been added in since making the last post. All good there, but still having issues getting other additional settings to stick. Seems whenever you reboot server that any changes you made in FTP are overwritten by the game/gameuseroptions.ini's the server creates.

The SFTP tab says that you're not supposed to use this to edit ini files because it'll get overwritten. Instead, you should use the game.ini or gameusersettings.ini editor under Expert Settings. After you put your lines in there, you can see the preview to confirm that they're being added in.

Also, MaxPersonalTamedDinos can be configured through Advanced Settings. You don't have to manually add this option.
