So if I set the setting to OFF is Battleye ON? I want it off because I have a slow PC and it makes it slower

Its only like 2fps but when you play at 20-30fps every little bit counts. lol

could very well be wrong about this but to my understanding that allows people who dont use battle eye to connect but wont effect your pc you would have to disable battle eye yourself on the one you use. GL (:

Thanks. I figured out that battleye wasn't the issue causing my pc to run slow. But I still don't fully understand the setting between on and off. I just want it to be off so that players don't need it. We whitelist anyway so its no big deal. Thanks for the info though. :)

Ark requires players to install BattleEye regardless if they're going to use it or not. If you're server doesn't have BattleEye on, it's just simply ignore any game hacking activity and won't try to prevent it.
