Sever went down around 4:22 cst and didn't come back up until after 6pm cst. Has anyone else have had the same issue and if so what was the why you fixed it.

The server (And everyone else globally who has ARK and that mod subscribed) has to download the mod update which usually hits Steam's servers pretty hard depending on how popular the mod is.

Some mods can take hours to update on the server end as Steam throttles the download due to QoS reasons.

Generally speaking most players are used to this on unofficial servers so let Valve get by with a lot of leeway.
