without being in-game to manually spawn her with cheats and without adding a mod I'm pretty sure I can get her to spawn if I add the simple spawners mod or the like but we already have a LOT of mods and I'd like to explore other possibilities before I slap another mod into our load order.

I know Valguero has its own individual spawn container and region for the broodmother as she's a roaming boss not an arena boss. I also have seen others reporting issues with the broodmother either not spawning or being invisible on Valguero (as far as we can tell though in our case she's just not spawning, not that she's invisible). It could be that there is no current fix for this but I'd appreciate any input nontheless.

I also know that coding her spawn region isn't the same as changing the spawn weights of normal dino areas as she's the ONLY dino that spawns in her "region", however I'm not sure how to even TRY to code it so that she actually spawns for us.

Which is horribly sad because I recoded her spawn container to add element/dust to her drops but lmao she won't spawn

I know the answer, but it's not what you want to hear.

To ensure a broodmother spawn on Vanilla Valguero: 1) Make sure you have 0 overlaying spawn container mods. 2) Make sure your "Dino Count Multiplier" is set to 1. Note: This is ABSOLUTELY been known to cause over population on Valguero leading to server crashes on lower population (read: Sub 50 active players) servers. 3) Proceed to tame, kill dinosaurs, and breed dinosaurs like normal. Broodmother should spawn generally in 10 game days.

I had my dino spawn count multiplier set to 0.6 because we have a LOT of dinos already and I was worried about overpopulation causing lag - could this have been what was messing with my broodmother's ability to spawn? If not I'd rather not increase the rates if it won't affect anything positively. Thanks for your answer though!

All of my spawn stuff is done through ini configurations, not mods so it shouldn't be anything like that causing issues, and prior to her not spawning I hadn't changed anything with the valguero broodmother's ini settings.

Yep! Due to how spawn containers work, setting the dino count to .6 actually means that each spawn container has a 60% chance to fire off instead of a 100% chance to fire off when it should.

This means that since she should attempt to spawn every 10 game days, what happens is the ARK code rolls the dice and AFTER the map decides she should spawn it then rolls the odds and 40% of the time she doesn't.

Sadly, after WildCard got a hold of the map files the really, REALLY garbaged up the spawn balance on the map, so in order to get it to run right on typical hardware you have to either lower the dino count or wipe the server about once every 6-8 hours.
