Hi people, I just need some help please. I have searched through the internet but there are no current solutions to my problem that started last night. I added a mod HG 1000 Stacking. After that I was not able to pull from any s+ item. I deleted that mod and added the 2500 HG Stacking but same issue there.

This morning my tribe mate joined and he could not pull from any s+ crafted table or smithy, fabricator ect. Many hours later it was resolved and still do not know how. Now the s+ Chemistry Bench and original one have no Crafting option. The Show Engram button to the far right is there but faded so you cant click on it to activate the crafting option. This is the only s+ item that now does not work.

Is there maybe anyone else that has the same issue and/or a solution to the problem. Thanks.

When you add a stacking mod it alters ALL of the base materials to new materials. It doesn't -restack- the items, it simply makes NEW items that drop and stack differently.

So to be able to craft with the NEW items you have to pickup any crafting station that was using the OLD items and then place them down again, so the game spawns them with the NEW items.

Because of how stacking mods work, it's quite possible that the mod author who built the crafting station didn't make the mod "stackable", which means it'll ONLY work with the OLD materials, which means eventually you'll run out of old materials to craft with.

Also, keep this in mind:

The order you should place your mods for ARK are the following:

1 Map Mods - This includes Map extensions. Basically any mod that determines where your feet go.

2 Core Mods - These are mods that change the way the game works. Examples are Primal Fear, Brutal ARK, Naj's Speedy Flyers

3 Stack Mods - If you don't know what a stack mod is, don't worry about this one.

4 - Any mod that doesn't depend on another mod goes here. Such as S+, Automated ARK, Eco Mods

5 - Any mod that requires other mods to work, or scans for other mods. Examples: TCsAR, Auction House Mod, Simple Spawners

Otherwise, the mods might not work.

Thanks for the reply. I have picked up the chemistry bench and placed it down again many times, I used both the base materials and the stacking ones. I made the original chemistry bench and tried using that. I have gasoline and electricity aplied to it and used it before. I uninstalled all mads only Classic Flyers and S= left. Tested it again and it shows NO ENGRAMS button left top so there are NO Crafting option like with other benches work items like the Fabricator. Also the Mortal and pestle has the same issue as the chemistry bench suppose its because they make the same items.

I have now installed the AA Mod that also have a chemistry bench and even that one does not work with any thing. You can load the crafting materials but can not craft there is no crafting option. Thats my issue. It now makes sence that its not the s= thats the issue because the AA Chemistry bench also can not craft. Thanks

No worries. I've not been using S+ for a while since the developer abandoned it and a new modder took the source code and came out with Super Structures.

I can confirm that SS does not have the issue, so might just be the mod being outdated by about 10 ARK updates at this point.

Plus side, Super Structures has a guide on how to migrate without losing items.

Ok thanks a lot for responding to my post and trying to help. I have decided to wipe and start over, this time I will not add the stacking mod weeks after I started playing. I have it installed from day one. So far all is working and no problems. Interesting about S+ never new that is now SS (Super Structures) I should maybe rather install that then. Thanks
