Anyone know away around the event setting that says it will not work unless Wildcard has that event running on Official. A player on one of my severs says this is not true as the server he was just playing on less than a week ago was running the Valentines Day event. Any help would be appreciated.

There are mods that will allow you to adjust events.

Outside of that, nope. WildCard stripped all holiday content from the base game to trim down on the size of the DevKit deployment.
