On your Advanced Tab, there's an option that will turn on or off crossplay. You cannot have any mods for crossplay to work and can only use the "official" maps: The Island The Center Scorched Earth Ragnarok Aberration Extinction Valguero Crystal Isles

It should show up in game search. However they have to make sure they have the following correct: Password Toggle. PvE vs PvP Map Exact server name, case and punctuation matters.

Outside of that, they have to use the console command from a single player.

Sadly, this is an IMPROVEMENT over the initial launch.
