  • What does the Option . Map or Total conversion do in the Mod section?

In the Mods section . the Options selection gives you 2 choices.. What do they mean? or do exactly?

Map means that the mod is a Map mod, and should be applied as such. Total Conversion means that the mod is a Total Conversion mod, and should be applied as such.

In MOST cases these days, mod creators know enough of their craft to make sure their mod is installed as a map or a conversion, but back when ARK started, not so much.
