Nope. South Africa unfortunately has local internet laws that allow some pretty heinous attacks on the data centers, to the point where most ZA / South African servers won't even offer DDoS protection. It's like how people living on a fault line can't get earthquake insurance.

Normally when these things occur it is resolved in a few hours, but the longest attack I've seen over the lsat 5 years in ZA/South Africa was 2 days.

The Host here has nothing they can really do during such attacks, all we can do is mainly wait for the attack to subside.

OK but how long must we still wait. its been a whole day now.

To be blunt: Until the asshats attacking the server(s) stop or the government stops them. It's one of the problems with doing internet business in this part of the counry, and why Elon Musk has spent so much of his time trying to develope an internet service not regulated by the South African government that he can deploy there.
