Logged on today and my base is shifted and all my stuff is in total disarray. it's like my building moved  yet all my items in the bulding are still in their original place

Sounds like your map you're playing on had an update.

X/Y/Z coordinates are known to change on Mod Maps when the dev increases or decreases the map size, since the center of the map is always

0,0,0

When you expand the map in any direction, all the coordinates become shifted. 
For instance, if the ceiling of the map as increased, the land would be moved down to compensate.
If the Eastern edge of the map was decreased by 10 meters, then everything on the map would shift 5 meters, etc, etc,
