Just wondering due to the north amarica shortages, i fully understand btw and know it sucks over here in north amarica lol

If i make a map say in south africa hosting slot, would it lag? Would it break if my players are here and they tryed to get on it? Like what are the pros and cons of such, my cluster is growing and i got like 4 more maps to build to compleat it so i am trying to figure out of this is a solution or not?  From a canadian i can tell you prices and shortages are not going to go down for sometime from the looks of it it is nuts here.

Well I have a small cluster here in North America that I host, I have friends from Germany, Netherlands, and Australia that play with me and have no complaints about it....

South Africa has some hurdles of their own. Due to laws in that part of the world, they have nearly 0 DDOS protection, and additionally I believe they have a larger RUST community than ARK, 7D2D, or Valheim. This leads to a LOT of concerns about overall stability. That stated, I've talked with a few of the ZA customers in private and despite some stability issues due to those concerns, they've mostly stated this company is one of the best experiences for hosting they've had in ZA.

To give you an idea of the environment in ZA, one customer joked during an outage that the data center probably was victim of copper theft, and come to find out while not copper theft, there was political motivated vandalism involved at a data center location, which was affecting other data centers, including the one that AS.IO uses.
