I know it's a weird question but trying to see if there is a way to solve a problem with my friend's character. My friends and I have been playing for some time and had ascended on the Island. When Aberration came out, we decided to start fresh and after everyone got to level 100 or so (edited the game.ini to increase level cap) we were going to download our old characters since all the tek stuff was unlocked on them. We uploaded our character at an obelisk and began our journey. Now two of us are over 100 and was planning on downloading our characters. Mine was successful, however my friend's was not. His has disappeared along with all of his dinos. I am trying to see if it is possible to use the backup data from the server to plug into a singleplayer game for him to retrieve his character, and if possible his dinos. If so, how would I go about doing this as I could not find the backup files that the server uses in the backup section and even when i did find the map data I could not find our bodies? I don't know if it makes any difference but he has had to completely wipe his computer since we landed on Aberration.

Well not sure about the data but since you playing single player here is a simple fix .

Your friend need to make a new char.

Then ... he needs to be admin .. Then he needs to type in Cheat givexperience 999999 1 1 1 = max lvl .. Then for engrams he needs to type in Cheat giveengrams. = gets all engrams

Then problem solved in like 5 seconds .
