I was restarting my server when it said "server needs update". Now it says server rebooting but nothing is happening. its completely frozen. please help.

After posting this, it suddenly started loading mods. Perhaps because I added my steam details to post on this discussion. Before I posted it took me at least about 45minutes before anything changed.

The forum is a separate application compared to main servers, so shouldn't have anything to do with your server loading.

However, of note is that today is Tuesday. And Tuesday is Steam maintenance day, and is notorious for being overloaded with hundreds of thousands of machines hitting their server for new games, sales data, etc, and as such anything that needs to use Steam is delayed and impacted. Most mod Authors will decline to do releases on Tuesday because of this, but WildCard and most other developer companies wind up aligning their updates with the schedule when possible, as statistically the more layers of obfuscation they can put in place between the end users and their own support staff, the more time it will give them to possible fix anything not discovered in Q/A that goes wrong on live.
