Looks like Server Hosting is open now for others besides Nitrado, Is The Team Here Going to open up options for ASA??

It's not. Hosts (and individuals) are not permitted to profit from providing servers outside of Nitrado per the EULA, and are only permitted to recoupe the costs for hosting the software. Which is bandiwdth costs, hardware costs, the costs for running the equipent. (Electricity, remote hands, etc.) and while the largest Linux host for ARK:SE would love to host ARK:SA for their customers, they also need to be able to pay the support staff for doing so, and the owner would like to have a little bit of money for their efforts.
The A:SA Server End User License Agreement prevents that.
Very upsetting.
Really love using Arkservers.io for dedicated, It's very hard to consider the game when my preferred host service will not have options availiable. Will hold out hope that things change for the better for everyone, although expectations are not the highest.
Would you guys be willing to consider working around that by hosting VPS for people to use? I'm currently hosting my server on a VPS from someone else, but you guys do such a good job with your servers I would really rather go through you but I totally get that's not really your thing currently. xD
I'm sure if any hosting company tried to host ASA they could get sued by Nitrado since they have a contract.
It seems the lock to host has been removed. Gaming Evolved is offering server rentals at an extreme price. Would really love to stay here at Arkservers. do you have any new on the possability of hosting a server?
It seems that Gaming Evolved is just reselling Nitrado hosting service from what intial reports are finding, so not sure how that really helps the community.
And while VPS is a way around it, it is also a very large headache for the provider due to the provider being ultimately reponsible for the server usage.
It looks like we're all just going to have to wait out the three years of exclusivity Nitrado has.
