Quebec is just too far for the community I'm in in texas, doesn't help that the US doesn't have great internet overall lol. I don't mind waiting to change servers to a better location but how often do servers free up? Is it better to check at night? I'd love to be put on a waitlist if that was possible but for now, we'll deal with Quebec

Check in all the time, as servers open and close all the time. I've got three game servers, one in each U.S. Region to support my player base, and I personally live in Georgia. The server I have the -WORST- connection with is the Virginia server (it's only about 25 ms difference though, and my ISP assures me it's not them, it's an inbetween provider of which they have no control.)

With today's internet backbone technology, most providers utilizing at LEAST DOCSIS  3.1 if not 4.0 or some form of OLT/ONT/OLM deployment for fiber to the curb, you -should- be getting pings from 40 - 150 depending on where you are in North America and your internet service providers performance.

But yeah, check often, especially since we're in the month of February. Most School age Admins and Holiday Warrior Admins tend to shut their server down about this time. So keep after it.

Also with how insane Pal World is doing, it's possible the host here may be able to expand an RDC to accomodate a few more servers.
