This update was pushed by StudioSirens at the behest of SnailGames. 

StudioSirens dev company utilzing AI in at least art, if not coding.

They have released a core update to the game, and currently have no timetable on releasing a DevKit update.

Even Vanilla ARK is crashing, they've messed up a number of basic things it looks from the Steam Repository side of things.

If they manage to fix ASE and not simply have done this to drive all the customers away to the new ARK, it's -VERY- likely that at least 90% of all the mods for ARK won't ever work again, as this game has been more or less from a mod standpoint since late 2022 when ASA was announced, with the StudioWildcard's last developer leaving the project in Summer of 2023.

Most modders have either moved on to ASA (which is a totally new dev kit), moved to another game, or have moved to a new hobby entirely.

And Nitrado still has an exclusive contract for the ASA hosting rights as SnailGames has yet to hit the financial threshold to have paid them back the multimillion dollar debt they owe.

Can you rollback the servers to pre-aquatica ? if we ask? 

Afraid not, but fear not SnailGames has StudioSirens working on a patch that will roll back the game pre-Aquatica.

What they plan to do iwth it from there though is anyones guess.

That's the beta branch currently. This host will only run the release branch due to SnailGames beta branches having a disclaimer of "not garaunteed to work". But they should be pushing the beta to release branch once they're happy with the testing results. Hopefully sometime in the next few hours.
