This Page Includes:
Where to Find Mods
Setup of SFTP Client
Mod Directories
Common Modpacks Supported

Where can you find Mods for 7 Days to Die?
The Forums on the 7 Days to Die Website | 7 Days to Die Nexus | 7D2DModLauncher | 7DaysToDieMods
We are not affiliated with any of the afformentioned linked to websites.

BEFORE You go any further, ensure to enable mod support on the service panel.

First things first, head over to your SFTP tab and scroll down to find the option:
Leave uploaded files intact. We won't change any game files unless we're installing a new version of the game. This will let you upload mods through SFTP.
With this enabled, go ahead and click "Save Settings"

Setup of SFTP Client:

Use a SFTP client to connect to your server. We recommend the use of FileZilla make sure you download the one for CLIENT not Server, otherwise you will be very confused later. After you have installed FileZilla or your program of choice. Open it up and connect with the details found on your SFTP page. Enter the SFTP details found on the SFTP panel in the Quickconnect.

If you are having issues with your uploads to the server, first ensure your transfer type is set to Binary.
Once you are connected to the service with SFTP, move onto the next step.

Adding Mods and Directories:

Initially when you get into your service via FileZilla, it will look something like the following image.

You will need to head into the folder "/7daysserver/" then right-click in the empty space and choose to create a Directory and Enter it.
Give this new Directory the name of "Mods"
Inside of the this directory you will now be able to place your various mods, or install a modpack as instructed from their respective listings.

Common Modpacks Supported:

We are unable to support any modpack running BepinEx due to security risks involved.
